McCoy and Company we’re alarmed at how big mudlogging firms send out personnel to sit wells that have had a two week mudlogging course, but have barely set foot on a rig before. Time spent bringing green mudloggers up to speed is time deducted from doing our job as wellsite geologists. To protect our clients’ interests, T.M. McCoy and Company has assembled a crew of trustworthy motivated mudloggers that work seamlessly with our wellsite geologists to collect and catalog the best data possible.
WELLSITE ACCOMMODATIONS
Part of T.M. McCoy and Company’s approach to wellsite geology is to eliminate as many weak links in the data chain as possible so our clients get the best results possible. Advances in drilling and bit technology have increased penetration rates dramatically. The ability to process samples quickly is paramount to success, hence we created our sister company Skid Row, LCC to provide the ultimate wellsite geology trailers. Every detail of Skid Row’s custom 12’x60’ skid units has been created to streamline sample preparation, examination, and correlation. In addition they provide a pleasant and professional on-site space to meet with clients. Skid Row, LLC’s units are available only to T.M. McCoy and Co. geologists and are rented at going oilfield rates.
